Invitation: The sky over Berlin

Republikon Intézet

The German federal elections in February will be the focus of political attention around the world, and from Hungary's point of view, the elections are even more important, as Germany is not only one of the most politically, economically and militarily important member states of the European Union, but also one of our country's most important allies and trading partners. Because of the many interconnections, the political and economic situation in Germany has a direct and major impact on the present and future of both the EU and Hungary.

Eseményborítózip 1

In this discussion on the German election results, we look at three main questions: whether Germany can expect greater political stability than before in the light of the results and what impact the strengthening of the AfD might have; what the new government in Berlin might bring to Europe and how Germany's position in the EU will change; and how Hungarian-German relations will develop and what Hungary can expect from the new government.
