As of the end of July, the support levels of the governing Fidesz-KDNP and the opposition Tisza Party, have remained relatively stable, with only minor changes within the margin of error. Tisza is currently 5 percentage points ahead of FideszKDNP in the general population, with 30% support among all respondents, compared to only 25% for Fidesz-KDNP. Similarly, no significant change took place among those who support a party, where Tisza currently leads by 6 points, with 40% support for Tisza compared to 34% support for Fidesz-KDNP. Finally, only minor changes occurred among decided voters, among whom Tisza is 9 points ahead of Fidesz: 43% would vote for Péter Magyar’s party, relative to 34% for the governing parties. As can be seen, Tisza has retained its lead from previous polls.
